PRESS: Fin Ministry may return to OFZ bond placement in months

MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Ministry plans to resume OFZ government bond placement in the coming months, business daily Vedomosti reported Thursday citing two sources close to the government.

"The authority will resume OFZ bond placement after the budget plans are approved. The government should coordinated them until the end of September," the daily reported citing one of the sources.

The other source said that the resumption of OFZ bond placement may take place no later than in October, the daily reported.

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said earlier that no borrowings are planned in 2022, neither locally, nor abroad.
